Oleh itu, aplikasi sosial mudah alih dicadangkan untuk membantu kanak-kanak mengembangkan kemahiran interaksi sosial. Walaupun begitu, kertas kerja ini hanya membincangkan fasa reka bentuk pembangunan aplikasi mudah alih. Ia dibangunkan untuk kanak-kanak dengan Gangguan Spektrum Autisme berfungsi sederhana (ASD) yang sedang mempelajari kemahiran interaksi asas. Fasa reka bentuk aplikasi melaksanakan keputusan daripada fasa analisis, yang telah membuat kesimpulan lebih awal. Lima penilai terlibat dalam penilaian heuristik, untuk meningkatkan antara muka pengguna aplikasi sosial mudah alih. Hasil daripada penilaian menyimpulkan bahawa semua penilai telah bersetuju dengan semua heuristik. Apatah lagi, cadangan yang berfaedah juga telah dicapai daripada penilaian tersebut. This paper discusses the tools used in developing the working prototype and presents the menu hierarchy for the prototype. The working prototype was tested to ensure its functionality works and free from errors. The methodology used to conduct the preliminary study is through questionnaires to parents and teachers of children with autism, which the questions are to verify the literature reviews. The system is capable to control the particular level of the autism students should play. Testing was conducted in Autism Intervention Programme of The National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) at Malacca branch. Results and findings from this testing support the idea that educational software may be one of an effective and practical tool for teaching academic skills to autism children. It is one of the most important skills that have to be developed for Down syndrome children. This study is focused mainly on development of the cognitive ability support system. The aim is to help them improving their logical thinking and memory skills. In brief, this study is about the development of software system for the cognitive ability. This includes the implementation of the radio frequency identification (RFID) reader and graphical user interface. The complete system is then test to ensure the accuracy of result, user acceptability and reliability of the system. The results show that the system can generate result in graphical form and training for improving the cognitive ability of the children.
