National Autism Resource Centre (NARC), Fakulti Sains Komputer & Matematik telah bekerjasama dengan EcoKnights Malaysia iaitu sebuah organisasi alam sekitar bukan kerajaan dalam melancarkan kempen’ Old Soles New Life’ iaitu kempen kitar semula kasut. Kerjasama ini juga turut mendapat sokongan dari Dow Malaysia dan Life Line Clothing Malaysia iaitu syarikat kitar semula tekstil terkemuka. SHAH ALAM, 23 APRIL – Sempena menyambut bulan Ramadan, pada hari ini telah berlangsung program memasak bubur lambuk di AEON Mall Shah Alam. Program ini merupakan kerjasama AEON Mall Shah Alam, National Autism Resource Center (NARC) dan Sekretariat Mahasiswa Fakulti (SMF), Fakulti Sains Komputer & Matematik (FSKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). SHAH ALAM: Kejayaan Pusat Sumber Autisme Kebangsaan (NARC), Fakulti Sains Komputer dan Matematik (FSKM) Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) menghasilkan dua produk digital, myTerapi dan AustiMall memberi khabar gembira kepada golongan autisme. KLIA has made an initiation called Butterfly Effect which is a selection of facilities and services designed specifically for passengers with hidden disabilities such as autism. These passengers will have been able to loosen up until their flight in a Calm Room on Level 5, a quiet space free of outside noise and outfitted with a variety of activity stations. There is also a designated drop-off area on the kerbside of the terminal entrance gates, as well as separate priority lanes at the Immigration and Customs counters for all Butterfly Effect passengers. KLANG, 16 OCTOBER 2020: The Internet of Things (IoT) Mushroom House Project is a collaboration between NARC and NASOM Bandar Puteri Klang to upgrade the existing mushroom house. For starters, 500 blocks of mushrooms were planted and it took three weeks for the IoT kit to be fully installed at the mushroom house. In addition, two IoT sensors were installed to measure the temperature and humidity that controls the desired environmental conditions for optimised mushroom production by automatically watering the mushroom house to damp it. SHAH ALAM, 6 DECEMBER 2019: a sharing session by Mr. Mohd Shafiq Badarulhisham and Mr. Muhamad Faiz Danyal was held at Dewan Al-Ghazali in UiTM Shah Alam. The speakers shared their inspiring life journey on how they made it to the universities as people with autism. The sharing session was joined by parents, guardians, NGOs representatives, and autism organisations all over Malaysia. Along with the sharing session, a charity sale organised by NASOM, and people with autism was held to enliven the event.
